Gilma Pre-Vis

The title of my thesis is "Gilma."
"Gilma" is a Portuguese female name meaning 'The One Who Advances, The One Who Goes Forward.' In Korean, it refers to the pack saddle placed on an ox’s or horse’s back for loading.
In creating my thesis, I focused on conveying a message.
The message I aimed to deliver is that even when overwhelming times of darkness come, if we continue to strive forward in the right direction, eventually the darkness will pass and the times that were as cold as ice will melt away, and bringing light once more.

My thesis is presented in a live action format, however the pre-vis is in 3D. It starts in a cabin where a female novelist has retreated to finalize her novel. Deeply pondering the ending of her story, she experiences a series of strange phenomena.
